The Alcoutim Chamber wants to give tax benefits to families with children, dispense with the 5% participation in IRS and apply a minimum IMI rate (0,3%), as a way to support the citizens.
With regard to the tax benefit for families with children in IMI, the approved reduction is 10% for families with one child, 15% for families with two children and 20% for families with three or more children.
This benefit is given regardless of the 0,3% IMI rate that will be applied, that is, the support is complementary.
Another way found by the Alcoutim Chamber to support its citizens was abdicating the 5% of the IRS to which they are entitled.
"These measures, together with the birth support program implemented by the municipality, constitute yet another positive differentiation factor for the municipality, boosting the attraction and fixation of residents and encouraging the increase of population in our municipality", believes Osvaldo Gonçalves, president of Alcoutim Chamber.
The measures now approved will be submitted for approval by the Municipal Assembly at a meeting scheduled for September 25th.
