Adega do Cantor and the rooftop of Restaurante Spot were the locations chosen for the third edition of Albufeira Summer Live, last Friday, 7th of August. The music was in charge of the Algarve duo Bubba Brothers and Kura, the Portuguese DJ who is part of DJ Mag's 40 plus.
This session was once again broadcast online on the pages and social networks of the Municipality of Albufeira, Albufeira Promotion Agency, Algarve Tourism Region, the artists themselves and Rádio Comercial.
The lineup was attended by Kura and the Algarve duo, Bubba Brothers. Kura is one of the national DJs and producers with the greatest international visibility, currently occupying 40th place in the DJ Mag Top100 world ranking.
In turn, the duo of Djs from Algarve Bubba Brothers, consisting of Eliseu Correia and Justino Santos, "is already a mandatory presence in the region's biggest events and here adds another important step in a career that continues to rise", highlights the Chamber of Albufeira.
The locations, which were only disclosed after the beginning of the performances, «returned to show different landscapes of the municipality of Albufeira». The beginning took place at Quinta do Miradouro, located in the parish of Guia, where the Adega do Cantor is located, of which Sir Cliff Richard is one of the owners».
According to the Municipality of Albufeira, «to the sound of the Algarve duo Bubba Brothers, it was possible for an hour to observe the breathtaking views of the vineyard and the surrounding coast».
José Carlos Rolo, who was present at the site, mayor of Albufeira, stressed that this is «a way of promoting a territory and an economic sector that is perhaps less associated with Albufeira, but that deserves this appreciation because it is a good example of an investment in a sector that acts in a complementary way to the tourist activity».
From the landscapes of the Algarve vineyards, Albufeira Summer Live «has moved to one of the most iconographic places in Albufeira. At Praia dos Alemês, from the rooftop of Restaurante Spot, it was possible to see the entire coastal area of the city».
The municipality of Albufeiren emphasizes that «the beach of the Germans is part of a sea front that includes the sands of the beaches of Peneco, Pescadores and Inatel, all of them recognized with the Blue Flag, besides, like all the beaches in the municipality. DJ Kura's music provided the perfect soundtrack for a late summer afternoon, with the sun setting behind the famous white houses that so well illustrate the urban landscape of Albufeira».
Albufeira Summer Live is an initiative of the Municipality of Albufeira «which aims to promote the municipality through the online transmission of a series of artistic performances from emblematic places».
Previous editions were broadcast from A Ruína Restaurant, Hotel Jupiter Albufeira, Paderne Castle and Pedras Amarelas.
