Associação In Loco produced a video in which it helps to properly use all the products in the food support baskets, without waste. This is another initiative of the “Prato Certo” project.
"We know that sometimes the use of products from food support baskets is not ideal, both in terms of waste reduction and efficiency of the household economy and healthy eating planning", begins by telling In Loco, in a press release.
Due to the impossibility of holding face-to-face food education sessions, the “Prato Certo” team produced a 30-minute video that exemplifies a session on the proper use of food products, especially adapted for households benefiting from food baskets, on the guiding principles for adequate food, without waste and that promotes the full use of the food in the basket.
This video is complemented with a set of digital tools such as brochures.
This “Prato Certo – Vulnerable Groups Package” for training food aid beneficiaries was made available to all Social Investors of the Prato Certo Project: Municipalities of Albufeira, Alcoutim, Aljezur, Castro Marim. Faro, Lagoa, Lagos, Loulé, Monchique, Portimão, São Brás de Alportel, Silves, Tavira, Vila do Bispo and the companies “Lima com Pimenta” and “Quintinha da SU”
