Loulé Hospital resumes face-to-face consultations

Teleconsultations remain, however, available

The Hospital de Loulé has already resumed face-to-face consultations in all medical specialties, which had been suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a press release, Grupo Hospital de Loulé guarantees that its clinical staff is "available to assist users in accordance with the safety and hygiene rules required by the health authorities."

With the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak, the Hospital «reorganized, from the outset, its services in order to guarantee a safe and properly sanitized operating and service model for the public, in line with the best international practices».

To overcome the difficulties in accessing the health unit due to the social isolation caused by the pandemic, teleconsultations were also implemented, a service that remains available.

“The postponement of appointments, surgeries, treatments and exams results in the aggravation of the disease, which can and should be avoided, for the sake of public health. Regardless of the current pandemic that the world is facing, it is still imperative to treat people who suffer from other pathologies, otherwise their health condition will become more complicated», concludes the press release.
