A young Belgian, aged 21, was saved this Monday, January 20, after having fallen from a four meter ravine in Algar Seco (Carvoeiro), Lagoa.
The alert was given at 13:52 pm.
The victim was rescued by sea by the crew of the Salva-Vidas de Ferragudo, having been transported to the Hospital in Portimão with a trauma to the legs.
At the site were the Maritime Police, INEM and Voluntary Firefighters of Lagoa.
The Maritime Police, moreover, "initiated steps to investigate the circumstances of the accident."
