CRESC Algarve 2020 opens new competition for social innovation projects

São Brás de Alportel, Tavira and Albufeira will receive clarification actions about this contest

The CRESC Algarve 2020 Operational Program opened a new competition, in the thematic domain of social protection and the prevention of poverty and any other type of discrimination, aimed at financing projects for sustainability, innovation and social experimentation. This contest is open until the 27th of February.

In total, CRESC Algarve 2020 has 2,5 million euros available to finance projects in the area of ​​social innovation.

Within the scope of this competition, Portugal Inovação Social, in partnership with the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR Algarve) and the municipalities of Albufeira, São Brás de Alportel e Tavira, promotes three more public clarification sessions on the instrument for financing innovation and social entrepreneurship initiatives – “Partnerships for Impact”.

These sessions aim to present this financing instrument as well as clarify doubts about the process, aimed at companies, social economy entities, public associations and foundations, school groups and local authorities.
