Ambassador Lauro Moreira will present, next Friday, October 25th, at 21:30 pm, the recital Vozes Poética da Lusofonia, at the Municipal Auditorium of Olhão.
This is an initiative that is part of the V International Poetry Meeting in the South.
One of the most outstanding personalities of Brazilian culture, who was ambassador to the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP) and Lusófona Personality Award 2009, Lauro Moreira will present a recital that will cover the best that Portuguese-speaking poetry has created around the world.
His extensive activity in different areas has also earned Lauro Moreira, among others, the Tioko Trophy, from the União Brasileira de Escritores, the Jaburu Trophy – Cultural Personality of the State of Goiás, the José Aparecido de Oliveira Award, from the CPLP, the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Grand Cross of the Order of Rio Branco, the Grand Cross of the Order of Anhanguera, Goiás, the Grand Cross of the Order of Infante D. Henrique de Portugal and the Necklace of the Order Wissam Al Alaoui, from the Kingdom of Morocco.
Ambassador Lauro Moreira is an intellectual with an international dimension and a profound knowledge of poetry and literature.
