The Municipality of Silves will start the procedure for the preparation of the Detailed Plan for Vales de Algoz, which will allow, among other things, to expand the industrial area of Vales de Algoz, «a lever for boosting the economic and social dynamism of the cluster. and the county', according to the municipality.
In this way, it will be possible to «continue a space of economic activities, at this moment already with some strangulation, and with competitive advantages by gaining scale».
The expansion of this industrial space also meets "the interest shown by promoters in promoting the growth of the space and reinforcing investment in Algoz".
At the same time, the Chamber intends to "consolidate areas adjacent to the existing perimeter, enhancing the existing infrastructure and reinforcing its sustainability", as well as "meeting the interest expressed by the promoter with experience in this area, specifically in the design and execution of urban areas the source of the plan's intervention area”.
The plan has an execution period of 330 days. From the 5th to the 26th of August there will be a period of preventive participation, so that «suggestions can be formulated and information presented by any interested party».
Contributions should be addressed to the councilor responsible for Spatial Planning and Urban Planning, using a specific form, which can be downloaded online.
Interested parties may also consult the terms of reference, the draft contract proposal and the qualification of the preparation of the Plan for the purposes of strategic environmental assessment on the Silves Chamber website, as well as in the Division of Planning and Urban Management, Spatial Planning and in the Parish Council of Algoz Tunes.
