Portimonense, FC Porto, Getafe and Betis de Sevilla are the teams that will participate, from the 19th to the 21st of July, in the Copa Ibérica, at Portimão Stadium.

The new pre-season competition is organized by Liga Portugal and LaLiga World, and the presentation press conference took place this Tuesday, July 2, in Portimão.

Portimão is, this year, the European City of Sport and, in this sense, Isilda Gomes, Mayor, praised the relevance of this competition.

"The Fan Zone that we are going to have in front of the Chamber will be a space for everyone and that will serve to promote another great moment", he also said.

Robson Ponte, vice-president of Portimonense, highlighted the presence of «great teams in world football, in what is a very important tournament for Portimão and for the League».

The first game of the competition will be on the 19th of July, between FC Porto and Betis (20:30), while the second will be played the following day between Portimonense and Getafe, from Spain, at 20:30.
