Three projects supported by Portugal Inovação Social are inaugurated next Tuesday, June 25, at 14:30 pm, at the Convento Espírito Santo, in Loulé.
The inaugurated projects will be Casulo – Social Innovation Incubator Loulé and Algarve, Café Interior and Iluminarte, in an event that will count with the presence of Maria do Céu Albuquerque, Secretary of State for Regional Development.
Casulo is a social innovation incubator that consists of activating a social innovation ecosystem at a regional scale, promoting the incubation of ideas and projects that promote social inclusion, territorial cohesion, youth entrepreneurship and social sustainability in the Algarve region .
Café Interior is a therapeutic itinerant café, an innovative social response to a social problem existing in the rural area of the municipality of Loulé: the isolation and loneliness of the aging population.
This initiative will be a mobile resource, consisting of a multidisciplinary team, which will act in the areas of cognitive stimulation, inclusion through art and sharing of traditions.
Academia IluminArte is an artistic space for non-formal education and for valuing practical intelligence, oriented towards professional success, reduction of risk behaviors, self-discovery and personal valuation of those who attend.
It is a project dedicated to art and social action that aims to empower young people with technical and social tools that allow them to find and/or create their place, fully included in the community, with a view to a better future.
