Carolina Deslandes and Nelson Freitas are two of the names on the FACAL – Almodôvar Arts and Culture Fair, which takes place from July 5th to 7th.
In 2019, "FACAL maintains and reinforces its commitment to the promotion and enhancement of regional products, the local business fabric, local gastronomy, the cultural identity of Almodôvar and all the potential of the county in its various aspects", says the Chamber Municipal.
In this sense, «several activities are programmed, with the aim of enhancing and enhancing our territory by strengthening the commitment to local products, gastronomy, handicraft and our cultural activity, in an event that is the showcase of our county and of the region".
This year's edition will once again feature the installation of “Espaço Almodôvar”.
The program includes conferences, workshops, tasting of regional products, live handicrafts, gastronomy and lots of musical entertainment. On Friday, July 5th, the highlight will be the performance of Havana Way, at 21:30 pm.
Carolina Deslandes takes the stage at 23:00 and, at 00:30, there is a ball with Rui Soares & Lau. On Saturday, July 6th, the performance of Beira Serra is at 21:00 pm, Nelson Freitas' performance at 22:30 pm and DJ Massive Child at 00:30 am.
On Sunday, July 7th, “Os Vocalistas” will perform at 21 pm, with the special participation of the Choir Groups “Andorinhas do Rosário” and “Friends of the Rosary”.
Soon after, at 22 pm, the “Cant'Fado” project will be on stage with Ana Valadas and Miguel Camões, with the special participation of the Choir Groups “Flores do Campo”, “Vozes de Almodôvar” and “Jovens com Tradição”.
Entries are again free.
