The Festa do Neighbor of Furnazinhas takes place on the 28th of May, from 17 pm, in this town of Castro Marim.
The party starts at 17 pm with the celebration of a mass, followed by socializing and a ball with Jaime Gomes.
“The neighbors just have to show up with a snack to share and with a lot of availability for fun”, says the Chamber of Castro Marim.
World Neighbors Day is a remarkably popular party that emerged in France in 1999, at the initiative of a group of friends, aimed at getting to know the neighbors and, at the same time, fighting the isolation in large urban centers and expanding , later, to 15 European countries, including Portugal, where it is celebrated from North to South.
