Lagos Cultural Center will have an “Infinite Fall” on stage

First presentation of the contemporary dance show was directed to schools

The contemporary dance show “Queda Infinita” will go on stage at the Centro Cultural de Lagos, on Saturday, February 16, at 21 pm, for its first presentation to the general public. This piece is by Rodrigo Teixeira and Adriana Xavier, two young creators and performers, and is co-created by Alice Duarte, who is also a performer in the show.

“Queda Infinita” had its first presentation, this Thursday, at 10:30 am, but only for the school public, as part of a project for secondary classes at Escola Júlio Dantas, in Lagos.

According to the synopsis, «the “Infinite Fall” is applied as an observatory lens before the human love life, perceiving the pressure to build, to affirm and to love volatilely and without really feeling satisfaction in anything. This is the fall of the formatted man to constant dissatisfaction with the world, surrendered to the consumption of himself».

According to the association A Purga, which produces the show, “there is a need to talk about love, how it begins and how it ends, how it is seen by the men of the XNUMXst century. Does the desire and desire to love still exist? Love what? It also reflects on the escapes and dreams that the individual finds to escape from routine, and from a life, from time to time. A way is opened to understand the universe of manipulation of the other and alienation through idleness and technological advance».

Tickets can be purchased and booked at Centro Cultural de Lagos, or through contacts 282770450 (Cultural Center of Lagos), 962512136 (Lagos Experimental Theatre), 912469610 and 933792623 (Purga Association), or by email purgaassociacao @gmail.com.

After Lagos, the show will also be presented in Lisbon, at Teatro Thalia, on March 22nd.
