With the participation of poets from dozens of countries, who for 10 days make Olhão their home, Poesia a Sul received this weekend Teresa Rita Lopes, who spoke on the «Livro do Desassossego» (the book of Fernando's life). Pessoa), in front of a full house at the Municipal Museum of Olhão – Compromisso Marítimo Building.

Fernando Pessoa was evoked again on Saturday, this time at the Municipal Auditorium, where Spanish actor Iker Ortiz De Zarate presented «Buenas Noches Sosiego», a play based on a montage with texts by the Portuguese poet, thinker and philosopher, including the «Livro of Disquiet”.

Another of the highlights of the first days of the 2018 edition of Poesia a Sul was the tribute to the poet of Olhanese origin and universal dimension, João Lúcio, whose centenary of death is marked on the 27th.

At Associação Cultural Re-Criativa República 14, Fernando Cabrita evoked his life and work, addressing its various dimensions: writer, metaphysical poet, thinker and introducer of modernism as a literary trend in Portugal.
