The Algarve Hotel and Tourism School (EHTA) received the eco-schools award, its first green flag under this programme.
“This award is the result of the work of the entire school community that has never given up on achieving this award through the numerous activities it has developed this school year,” says EHTA.
To achieve this award, the School has developed activities such as the Biological Garden or curricular works on sustainable consumption.
To this is added the collection of caps for solidarity causes or electrical and electronic equipment – Generation Depositrão.
EHTA also has the “Papel por Alimentos” project – collecting paper and cardboard to help Lar Serra do Caldeirão through the Food Bank.
