Regional Food Safety Observatory provides training on healthy eating in Silves

The Algarve Regional Food Safety Observatory will promote a training action on the 28th of June, at Quinta Pedagógica de Silves, at 10:00 am.

This event is aimed, in particular, at technicians in the social area, cooks, kitchen assistants, other employees of institutions and associations, households in a situation of food insecurity, but is open to the entire community.

According to the Chamber of Silves, which supports the training action, the objectives of this meeting are to «train households to make informed choices, promote Mediterranean food principles as a solution for healthy and accessible food, and raise awareness and inform about principles and techniques to maintain healthy and affordable food'.
