A 52-year-old man, of German nationality, suffered a fall on the 15th, at 16:50 pm, while paragliding, having crashed violently into the ground, in a place of difficult access, near Amado beach, in Aljezur.
The alert was given by the lifeguards of Praia do Amado, who reported the occurrence, and ambulances from INEM and Aljezur Firefighters were immediately sent to the site, as well as the Amarok all-terrain vehicle from ISN, affecting the “Sea Watch” project.
The soldiers of the ISN all-terrain vehicle rescued the victim, taking him to the ambulances.
At 17:30 pm, the wounded man was taken to the hospital in Portimão, with severe pain in the lower back and cervical spine.
