The “Algarve Tri Run 3.0” takes place next Sunday, November 26, in Vilamoura and Quarteira.

The event, which includes a stage of the National Long Triathlon Championship and a half marathon, this year has the route approved by the Portuguese Athletics Federation.

In the “Algarve Tri Run – Long Triathlon” the athletes will swim 1,9 kilometers at Praia da Marina de Vilamoura, cycle 90 kilometers inside the county and run 21,1 kilometers between Passeio das Dunas and Calçadão de Quarteira, with a low slope accumulation, enabling a fast route.

In the “Algarve Tri Run – Half Marathon”, the route will be run between Vilamoura and Quarteira in two laps, with a low slope accumulation, “allowing a very fast race where national and international records can be beaten, since the route is approved for a distance of 21,1 kilometers», says the Câmara de Loulé.

There will also be a mini marathon, with a distance of 12,5 kilometers and a march, with 6,5 kilometers, "which will give the whole family a different morning, in a unique environment", says Câmara de Loulé.

As a result of this event, several traffic constraints in Vilamoura and Quarteira are foreseen in these days. For more information and registration for the “Algarve Tri Run 3.0” click here
