The «knowledge and flavors of the countryside», the «best of handicrafts and local cuisine», but also donkey rides and «lots of musical entertainment» made the fourth edition of the Feira do Campo, held on April 30, in Furnazinhas.
The initiative also included a walking tour, in which «about 200 people took part», according to the Chamber of Castro Marim.
“After the cobbled streets and the schist houses that characterize the village of Furnazinhas, the participants could still see the old copper mines on the slopes facing south and the breathtaking views over the Odeleite Dam”, he adds.
Visitors were able to participate in the workshops. of bread and cheese or visit an exhibition of farm animals.
Feira do Campo was an initiative of the Parish Council of Odeleite, in collaboration with the population of Furnazinhas and had the support of the Chamber of Castro Marim.
