An adult whale, about 12 meters long, was found dead south of Porto da Baleeira, having been towed to this port on Tuesday, May 30th, with the help of the lifeguard “SR33” from Sagres.
The animal was then «recovered from the water by cranes installed in vehicles from the Municipality of Vila do Bispo and, after being contacted by the Institute for Nature and Forest Conservation, it was decided to transport it to the municipal landfill», he says. the National Maritime Authority.
