Mário Laginha and Camané took to the stage of the Cine-Teatro Louletano on February 1st, as part of the celebrations of the 29th anniversary of the elevation of Loulé to the city, and sold out the county's main concert hall in an «intimate full of emotion» concert .
The duo "revisited traditional fado and evoked major poets, in a work of instrumental reinterpretation of fado that proposed bold and generous deconstructions," according to the Câmara de Loulé.
«The enthusiastic adhesion to this show is thus following three other concerts, from different musical backgrounds, presented at the Cine-Teatro during the month of January, which were also sold out: the two New Year concerts by the Orquestra Clássica do Sul and the kickoff of the musical cycle “Femina” (dedicated to great Portuguese female voices) with Teresa Salgueiro, on 15 January», he adds.
There are also other shows planned for this first semester at the Cine-Teatro for which tickets are no longer available, such as the concert by Aurea on April 22 (although an extra date has already been announced for the following day) or by the Trio Loulé Jazz with Pedro Abrunhosa in the scope of the musical cycle “O Longe é Aqui”, on 3 May.
