The 11th edition of SOLRIR – Humor Festival had 5600 spectators, who on the 29th and 30th of December and the 1st and 2nd of January headed to the Palácio de Congressos do Algarve, in Albufeira, to see the humor of Herman José, Nilton, Môce dum Goat or Seraphim.

Yesterday, January 2, Nilton closed this festival, which had «a sold-out audience applauding him», according to the organization. The comedian toasted the audience with the premiere of his new show «Alcides, a comedy like humor», on a night that also received the humor of Joca and Carlos Moura.

«The night before, the first of 2017 and with an equally sold-out room, Môce dum Cabreste, Zé Pedro and Serafim led the thousands of spectators to a fever pitch, in a humorous session with accents», says the organization.

In the first days of the festival and the last ones of 2016, on December 29th and 30th, Herman José and Aldo Lima were the headlines and, together with “Môce Mó”, the duo João Evaristo and Joaquim Parra, and the group of young humorists Improvio Armandi, «who left the auditorium of the Algarve Congress Hall to surrender».

SOLRIR has been held since 2006 and has already featured the participation of more than 200 national and international artists, such as Raul Solnado, Fernando Mendes, Fernando Rocha, Fernando Pereira, Marco Horácio, António Raminhos and the Brazilians Rafinha Bastos, Fernando Caruso and Marcela Loyal, among others.

SOLRIR is an initiative of Press Happiness in collaboration with the Municipality of Albufeira, with the sponsorship of the Crédito Agrícola and the support of the Algarve Tourism, Nau Hotels & Resorts and Adega do Cantor. RFM is the festival's official radio.
