For the third consecutive year, Tavira will host the Summer Festival of Wines and Flavors, between the 7th and 10th of July, from 19pm to midnight. The event takes place in Jardim do Coreto, next to the old Fish Market, and will bring together dozens of wine producers from all over the country, who will give their best wines to taste.
The exhibition, organized by Revista de Vinhos, with the support of the Tavira City Council, will also have "several food products that can be consumed on site and will feature a wide entertainment program".
«Taking advantage of the tourist peak season, with the presence of many thousands of national and foreign visitors, this Festival is an integral part of the program to publicize the Mediterranean Diet in which the Municipality of Tavira is strongly committed», explains the organization.
For those who want to know more and deepen their knowledge of Portuguese wines, commented tastings are also scheduled, led by experts from Revista de Vinhos.
Entrance and circulation at the Wines & Flavors Summer Festival is free, but access to the tasting of all the wines at the fair requires the purchase of a 5€ tasting bracelet (with a free glass). Visitors will also be able to buy all the products on display.
