etic inscriptionsEnrollment for the technical courses for the 2016-2017 school year starts this Wednesday, June 1st, at ETIC – School of Technologies, Innovation and Creation of the Algarve, in faro, with the motto “I have a new story to tell you”.

“Always attentive to the needs of the labor market”, ETIC_Algarve reinforces its training in the area of Animation and Videogames, which now has two new courses: Game Development and Videogames (1 and 2 years old, respectively), said Nuno Ribeiro, Director of ETIC_Algarve.

These courses “are a natural consequence of the partnerships established over the last year with game development studios, which are renowned in Portugal and even worldwide, such as Raindance LX, Stratera Studio, Bica Studios and Miniclip , which needs no introduction”, he explains.

Due to the success of the first edition of the Digital Marketing & Social Media course, the commitment to this course in 2016/2017 remains, not only “due to the great need that the market has for professionals in this area, but also due to the level of specialization that our trainees acquire during this training”.

This school year's graduates have achieved two certifications, Google AdWords and Google Analytics IQ. “Of this last certification, there are only about 100 people certified in Portugal, and our trainees are the first to obtain such certification south of Lisbon”, adds Nuno Ribeiro.

Another novelty for the next academic year and “because at ETIC_Algarve we take the development of talent and learning the skills required by the labor market very seriously”, is the creation of JUMP – Support for Professional Integration, through which it is given to trainees of the 1-year technical courses, the possibility of carrying out a 320-hour internship in companies working in their specific area of training.

With this project, together with ERASMUS+, it is intended an effective and productive insertion in the labor market, thus allowing trainees to “continue to create new stories to tell”.

These innovations add quality and diversity to the traditional training offer of ETIC_Algarve, which, for 2016/2017, has 21 courses, of 1 or 2 years, divided into six areas: Animation & Videogames, Design, Photography, Sound & Music, Video and Web & Communication.

Registration starts today, June 1st, on the ETIC_Algarve website. Interested parties can contact the school through the email [email protected], by telephones 289823359 and 960309550 or at the school office, on the 1st floor of the Municipal Market of Faro.
