Makro, the leading wholesale distribution company, is once again highlighted by the Top Employer Institute, with the title of Top Empoyer 2016 for the third consecutive year. the title of Certified Excellence in Employee Conditions was awarded to the wholesale company both at the European level and for Portugal in particular.

The award of this certification is subject to a rigorous analysis of each candidate company, and this year only 64 companies have reached the required level in Europe.
The main criteria that led Makro to be one of the top employer were the working conditions it provides to its employees, the training and development of talent at all hierarchical levels, and the constant search to optimize the practices of its human resources.
