The works in progress at Portinho do Forno da Carrapateira were visited yesterday by technicians from the Sociedade Polis Litoral Sudoeste and by the Municipality of Aljezur, who, at the site, gathered the opinion of fishermen on the execution of the work.
According to the Municipality of Aljezur, this project for the Qualification and Valorization of that port will boost fishing activity, «creating the conditions for the valorization of this traditional economic activity, linked to the fishing sector», in this area of the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina.
