The PSP has detained five people since yesterday, in Faro, for infractions related to the highway code. In one of them, the police even had to chase a man who, at the wheel of an unmarked motorcycle, did not obey a stop order and ran away.
According to the PSP, this arrest for disobedience was made yesterday, at 15:28 pm. During the chase, the 39-year-old man "committed several violations of the highway code, making driving dangerous." Due to the fact that the motorcycle did not have a license plate, it was seized by the police.
The other four arrests were made for driving with excessive alcohol. The first was done yesterday, at 7:45 am, when a 29-year-old man accused a BAC of 1,81 G/L.
