The União das Freguesias de Lagoa e Carvoeiro will promote a popular festival next Friday, July 3rd at Jardim 5 de Outubro and Rua 25 de Abril, in Lagoa. Music and sardines will not be missing from 19:30 pm. The night will also be animated by a parade of popular marches.
Clube Futebol 'Os Estombarenses', Sporting or Glória Portimonense, Clube Instrução Mexilhoeirense – Mexilhoeira Grande, Duna Community Center – CASLAS/March Infantil and Sociedade Recreativa Estombarense are the associations that will march on this popular party night.
The music will be in charge of the group Ritmo Jovem and in addition to the grilled sardines, there will be steaks, steaks and all kinds of snacks and drinks.
According to the União de Freguesias, "this popular festival is also a way to recover the traditions that have been losing weight in our community and to promote healthy coexistence among the population."
The initiative has the support of the Municipality of Lagoa and the Grupo Desportivo de Lagoa.
