The concert by Orquestra do Algarve (OA) with the band Amor Electro is scheduled for August 9th, at 22 pm, at Palácio da Galeria Park, in Tavira.
As part of the Caixa Geral de Depósitos Festival, Orquestra do Algarve joins Amor Electro, the most successful new band in 2013.
OA's musicians take the stage with Tiago Pais (multi-instrumentalist), Ricardo Vasconcelos (keyboards), Rui Rechena (bass) and Marisa Liz, one of the most prestigious interpreters of the new generation.
Amor Electro, a band distinguished with two golden globes (Best Band and Best Music), for their work “A Máquina”, and participating in some of the most important national festivals, present a repertoire of songs that are part of the Portuguese music scene, where the influences of international bands are reflected, but with their own identity sung in the language of Camões, with an “electrifying” sound.
Admission costs 10 euros, 5 euros of which revert to charity institutions.
Tickets are on sale, starting tomorrow, July 30, at the Paços do Concelho reception and at the Tavira Town Hall stand, in Praça da República.
