Xávega, the Association for the Cultural Development of Quarteira, with the support of the Municipality of Loulé, will present a multidisciplinary show at the East end of the Calçadão de Quarteira, starting at 21 pm, on Saturday, June 30, integrates the set of June festivals in that city.
In the evening, with its playful-cultural characteristics, the dance classes of teacher Annette Almeida, who, with their excellent demonstrations, have contributed a lot to the dignification of the city of Quarteira, will interpret classical, contemporary and tap dance pieces.
The actress Elisabete Martins, in turn, will present “Romeus e Julietas”, a performance carried out as a practical exercise by the students of the theater workshop that is taking place in that city, in an organization of the “Xávega” association.
The evening is completed by Carolina Anastácio Tomé, the young accordionist who is part of the “A Xávega de Quarteira” Ethnographic Group, who will provide the audience with popular excerpts from her already vast repertoire.
