The video “Cumbre Vieja – The Fire From Within”, resulting from Bruno Gonçalves' trip to La Palma to photograph the eruption of the volcano, won the “Nature and Landscape” category at the Los Angeles Timelapse Film Festival.
This video resulted from a small part of the 19 thousand photographs taken in timelapse sequences by Bruno Gonçalves on a trip to La Palma, in the Canaries, accompanied by a friend, to photograph the eruption of the volcano Cumbre Vieja.
It was not the first time that this video was awarded.
“Cumbre Vieja – The Fire From Within” also won the “Best Timelapse Film” awards at the Barcelona Planet Film Festival, “Best Short Documentary” at the Solidarity Festival All Con La Palma, having also been a finalist in the Oniros Film Awards Festival, New York.
Also the video entitled “Atmós”, using the technique of timelapse to compile the approximately 18 photos captured during the 10-day trip to the United States of America in 2019, in the middle of “Tornado Alley”, it has now been awarded 3rd place at the Los Angeles Timelapse Film Festival, in the Category “Nature and Landscape".
