Alexandra Gonçalves is 14th on the AD list for the Europeans

The list is headed by the young journalist and commentator Sebastião Bugalho, aged 28, in a choice that has motivated several criticisms

Algarvian Alexandra Gonçalves, former regional director of Culture, is on the Democratic Alliance (AD) list for the European Elections on June 9, despite being in an ineligible place: 14th. 

Alexandra Gonçalves is currently director of the Higher School of Hotel and Tourism Management at the University of Algarve, having been regional director of Algarve Culture from 2013 to 2018.

Between October 2009 and September 2013 she was a councilor at the Municipal Council of Faro, being responsible, among others, for the areas of Culture, Social Action, Health, Advertising, Economy and Tourism.

The list is headed by the young journalist and commentator Sebastião Bugalho, aged 28, in a choice that has provoked several criticisms.

As for the PS list, it also has one from the Algarve: Isilda Gomes, president of the Chamber of Portimão, who is in an eligible position (9th).
