Former Algarve footballer António Pacheco died today, Wednesday, March 20th, around a week after being hospitalized following cardiac arrest, during a game of bowling with friends, at Praia da Rocha, in Portimão.
On that day, the former Benfica and Sporting footballer was admitted to Hospital de Faro with a very poor prognosis and had been brain dead since last Saturday.
The former athlete is from Portimão, where he lived. He ran a bar in Lagos.
