The book “O Portal Mágico”, by Fúlvia Almeida Baião, which tells the adventures lived by Taís and her cat Rajá, was presented on Saturday, the 16th, at the Gimnásio Clube de Faro, and is now on sale at Editora Oficina da Escrita website, at Livraria Bertrand, at FNAC and at WOOK.

This is the first book by the journalist, performance artist and cultural agent from the Algarve and also the first volume of a possible saga, as Fúlvia Almeida explained during the book presentation.

Before, the author had already explained to the Sul Informação that this first adventure is set, mostly, in Tunisia, «despite the characters living in Loulé».

«But there is a quantum and magical leap that will take them to Tunisia. And the whole story takes place there, there is a mystery to solve and they can't go back until they solve it. It's a story that is full of mysteries to be discovered, strange things that happen», he revealed.

After this official presentation of the book, in Faro, where Susana Correia, the artist responsible for the book's cover and illustrations, was also present, there are others already scheduled.

“The Magic Portal” was, moreover, presented this Friday, the 22nd, at 19pm, at the Casa da Cultura de Loulé.

This will be followed by presentations at the literary meeting “Palavras ao Vento”, in Redondo (Alto Alentejo), on the 6th of May, at “Primavera Literária”, in Faro (May 17th) and in Castro Marim (June 1st, at 16pm at Revelim de Santo António).
