Morgado do Quintão launches events inspired by Algarve cuisine

First event takes place on February 24th

Morgado do Quintão has just announced the launch of 'À MESA', a series of monthly gastronomic events inspired by the family recipe book and coordinated by chef Sérgio Gama, which promise a journey through the flavor and history of the Algarve.

The 1st event will be on February 24th, at 13:00 pm, and there will be more news in the coming months.

Inspired by family recipes that have been shared for generations among members of the Caldas de Vasconcellos family, and under the culinary direction of renowned chef Sérgio Gama, whose experience includes stints at Noma e Ocean, 'À MESA' aims to be «a series of gastronomic events, a sharing and a tribute to the authenticity and richness of Algarve cuisine».

«The collaboration promises dishes that resonate with memories, tradition and the chef's characteristic innovation, along with a very special wine experience where the Algarve is central and materialized in the wines of Morgado do Quintão», says the organization.

According to Filipe Caldas de Vasconcellos «'À MESA' is the beauty of new gastronomic memories inspired by our family recipe book in a series of meetings that celebrate the Algarve, our home and our community».

The menu for the first À MESA will focus on local and seasonal products in a combination that celebrates the Algarve of yesteryear and includes cover charge, three starters, two main courses and dessert. Includes pairing with Morgado do Quintão wines and costs 85 euros per person.
