Study “Motivations for a career in tourism and hospitality” presented in March

All industry professionals and interested parties are invited to be present

The study “Motivations for a career in tourism and hospitality” will be presented on March 4th, at 15 pm, at the Algarve School of Hotel and Tourism and all professionals in the sector and interested parties are invited to be present.

With the recent creation of a training project promoted by Turismo de Portugal and the Algarve Tourism Region, it has become clear again that «it is also important to know what motivates professionals and what strategies can be implemented to manage and satisfy their perspectives”, says the organization.

The KIPT Association, Innovation and Tourism, Collaborative Laboratory, whose mission is to enhance the tourism profession, developed a study on the motivations for a career in Tourism & Hospitality that facilitates understanding the dynamics of this constantly evolving sector.

The development of this study identified motivations, attitudes and expectations that shape professional choices in this field.

The conclusions highlight the pressing need to adopt different strategies in managing careers and expectations, taking into account the specific characteristics of each profile in the Tourism & Hospitality sector.

The main results of this study will now be presented on the 4th, in an event that will also feature a round table discussion on the topic, with the presence of professionals and representatives of Higher Education Institutions.
