Free Animation Cinema Course at UAlg is open for registration

The course will take place from the 25th to the 28th of March

Registration for the Free Animation Cinema Course, which will be taught at the University of Algarve, closes this Friday, March 1st.

The course will take place from the 25th to the 28th of March, always in the afternoon, on the Penha campus.

With a total of 20 hours, the course seeks to promote a creative and formative encounter with animated cinema.

Developing practices, allowing debate and experimentation with narratives, time management, creation of characters, contexts and environments, the course «mainly explores the graphic and technological possibilities of contemporary animation», says the organization.

Taught by a faculty of visual arts and cinema, the course will explore the design development of a new film, between the idea and its completion.

The University of Algarve awards a total of 10 scholarships, equivalent to the tuition fee, to the first enrollees.

This course, which is part of the “UAlg+Skills4All” project, takes place within the scope of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR).
