Portimonense traveled to the city of Porto to beat Boavista 1-4, at Estádio do Bessa, in a game counting for the 19th round of the I League.

The Algarve's first goal was scored in the 18th minute, by Hélio Varela, served by Hildeberto.

In the 26th minute, Jasper increased Portimonense's lead to 0-2, with another assist from Hildeberto.

Just before the break, in the 36th minute, Carlinhos made it 0-3, with a free kick.

In the second half, the home team came out determined to give a different image to the one they had left in the first half, and installed themselves in the Algarve's defensive midfield.

And Boavista ended up managing to reduce it, in the 68th minute, shortly after Portimonense had seen the VAR cancel a goal by Jasper.

Following a corner, Makouta reduced the northern team's deficit.

From here on, the game got lively, with opportunities for both teams, but without the score changing.

At the end of the day, at 90+6 minutes, Luan Silva made it 1-4 for Portimonense and sealed the final result.

With this victory, Portimonense takes a leap up the league table to 9th place (it was 14th before this game), after playing 19 rounds of the I Liga championship.
