The Algarve Jazz Orchestra will start the year with a concert in Almada, this Saturday, the 5th, and another in Lagos, on the 27th.
The show in Almada will be included in the presentation of the Joaquim Benite Municipal Theater program, starting at 21:30 pm.
Clara Buser will give voice to this concert where some themes from the repertoire of Thad Jones will be performed, one of the references in world jazz as a musician and also as orchestrator and band-leader of ‘his’ Thad Jones-Mel Lewis Orchestra.
On January 27th, at 21:30 pm, at the Lagos Cultural Center, the Orchestra welcomes two guests: Maria Anadon and Ferdinand Von Seebach who will take on the musical direction.
