On its 102nd anniversary, the Algarve Football Association breaks a new athlete record

In a press release, the AFA says that «the record for the entire previous season was already surpassed more than five months after the end of 23/24»

The Algarve Football Association (AFA) celebrates 22 years of history this Monday, January 102nd and has reasons to celebrate, as it broke a new record for registered athletes (9 thousand).

In a press release, the AFA says that «the record for the entire previous season was already surpassed more than five months after the end of 23/24, as a result of the clubs' unparalleled work and the tireless support of the Municipalities and all those who contribute so that our members continue to make sports available to society, which is so important for the training of young people and for the health and quality of life of human beings».

The Football Association recognizes the «constant support of the Portuguese Football Federation, the Regional Directorate of the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth and all partners and sponsors, without whose support there would certainly not be all this activity that makes us so proud and that does so much for the development of society».
