The best futsal coach in the world provided training in Faro

Action was under the theme “Talent Development and Futsal Player Training”

Jorge Braz, elected best futsal coach in the world, led, on the night of Monday, January 22nd, a training session in the auditorium of the Algarve Football Association (AFA) for more than 70 participants, including Algarve coaches, teachers of school sports in the region and the general community.

Under the theme “Talent Development and Futsal Player Training”, the action was attended by Pedro Dias, director of the Portuguese Football Federation, Luís Conceição, national women's futsal coach, Custódio Moreno, regional director of IPDJ, Reinaldo Teixeira, president of the AFA, in addition to other members of the board and Luís Brites, regional technical director, with the opening session being in charge of João Martins, futsal coordinator at the AFA.

The training was equivalent to three UEFA hours and 0,6 credit units for revalidation of the Professional Sports Coach Title.

Jorge Braz is part of the training camp for the under-21 national teams that are training in Tavira and that compete this Tuesday and Wednesday against Slovenia, in four free-entry games.
