Vila Real de Santo António will once again be the stage for the making of a giant king cake, next Sunday, December 17th, starting at 10:30 am, on Rua Teófilo Braga, next to Jardim dos Firefighters.
The delicacy will be 60 meters long and weigh 250 kilos and will be prepared by “A Padaria”, by chef Filipe Martins.
The initiative takes place for the second consecutive year.
To carry out the task, the work of eight pastry chefs was necessary, who, for three consecutive days, will ensure all the preparations.
The event features musical entertainment from the Philharmonic Band of the Vila Real de Santo António Cultural Association and logistical support from the Municipality and Parish of Vila Real de Santo António.
