Almost three thousand people participated this Friday, December 15th, in the opening of the “Aldeia Natal de Albufeira”.
«This is the best and most comprehensive Christmas program ever in Albufeira. There is no shortage of stalls with gifts and Christmas flavors, but there are always three shows a day, constant street entertainment, exhibitions and the irreplaceable ice rink", said Mayor José Carlos Rolo, who invites everyone to enter the Christmas train and heading towards the “downtown” of the city.
This year, one of the new features are the videomapping shows, with a pavilion dedicated to the heroes and another dedicated to the characters from the Frozen II production.
Largo Eng.o Duarte Pacheco has already hosted several concerts, namely that of Anaísa Ferreira, the Gospel Shout Choir, the group “Churra Terra Natal” and also the musical “O Natal dos Traquinas”.
There will still be videomappings “Parada do Quebra Nozes” and “All about Christmas”, the magic of Paulo Cabrita and the dance of Associação Luel and FC Ferreiras.
Today, Tuesday, there is again, at 18pm, the show “All about Christmas” in videomapping, and at 00pm, the show titled “Fabulástico Circus”.
The “Aldeia Natal de Albufeira” continues until the 23rd of December and has a lot to offer: tomorrow, the 20th, there will be a musical performance by Albufeira artist Carol Vieira, at 19pm, and by the Grupo Coral do Conservatório de Albufeira, at 00:18pm, at Thursday, the 15st, the juggling show “The Gentlemad”, at 21:19 pm, and the performance of the Youth Orchestra of the Sociedade de Recreio Popular e Musical de Paderne, at 00:18 pm and Friday, the 15nd, the “Opera Rocks” concert : Special Christmas” at 22:19 pm and the show “Gaitas Sirigaitas”, at 00:18 pm.
On the last day, the magic happens at 19:15 pm with the show “Canções de Natal by André Sardet”.
