Cachopo receives demonstration “Agricultural Biodiversity – ancient foods and innovation”

On November 11th, from 10 am

Monte do Grainho, in the Parish of Cachopo, will host, on November 11th, from 10 am, the culinary demonstration “Agricultural Biodiversity – ancient foods and innovation” by chef Margarida Vargues.

The initiative, which takes place within the scope of the “Seed Encounter”, includes a tour of vegetable gardens, wineries and native plant nurseries, a display of local products, lunch, music and a “wise men's table”, which will enable the sharing of knowledge about bioagricultural heritage.

The demonstration is organized by the Colher para Semear Association – Portuguese Network of Traditional Varieties and the Cooperativa Agrícola de Rega do Grainho with the support of the Municipality of Tavira.
