Thriller about Fernando Pessoa premieres in three Algarve cinemas

Film is by director Edgar Pêra

The film “Não Sou Nada – The Nothingness Club”, a thriller that takes place inside the head of Fernando Pessoa, will premiere next Thursday, October 26th, in three Algarve cinemas, at Fórum Algarve (Faro), Algarve Shopping (Guia, Albufeira) and Portimão Shopping Center. 

“The Nothingness Club” (the international title of the work), by director Edgar Pêra, features actors such as Miguel Borges (Fernando Pessoa), Victoria Guerra (Ofélia Queirós), Albano Jerónimo (Álvaro de Campos), Vítor Correia (Ricardo Reis ), Miguel Nunes (Alberto Caeiro), Paulo Pires (Barão de Teive) and António Durães (António Mora).

The film also features musician Paulo Furtado (The Legendary Tigerman) as an actor (in a different role as Pessoa) and also as the author of part of the soundtrack.

Rodrigo Areias (Bando à Parte) took over production and the shooting took place in an atmosphere of almost confinement, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in Vila das Aves (Santo Tirso), in a warehouse at the old Rio Vizela factory.
