Ricardo Latoeiro is the new president of the Regional Board of Directors of the Order of Architects. The inauguration of the new governing bodies of the Algarve Regional Section is scheduled for Wednesday, October 25th, at 18:00 pm, at Solar da Música Nova, in Loulé.
Architect Ricardo Latoeiro led the candidate team for the Algarve on List A, with the motto “Now the Future”, which won the elections held on September 21st, for the 2023-2026 mandate.
Ricardo Latoeiro will be accompanied by architect Esmeralda Palma, elected as vice-president.
Architect Nuno Freitas will continue as president of the Regional Assembly for a second term. Architect Teresa Correia was elected president of the Regional Disciplinary Council.
As national delegate for the Algarve circle, architect Mário Martins was elected.
Ricardo Latoeiro highlights the “expressiveness of the electoral results, representative of the importance and need for investment in the profession, at a time of great changes”.
It also calls for “the union and participation of all architects in the Algarve, without divisions or exceptions, in the construction of a stronger and more combative Order of Architects, in defense of the profession, architects and the future”.
