Man detained at the airport of Faro with 1205 doses of cocaine he is in pre-trial detention

The passenger intended to fly to Milan

A man was arrested this Monday, October 2, at the Airport of Faro, with 1205 doses of cocaine, and was today in pre-trial detention. 

According to the PSP, the passenger intended to fly to Milan and when being searched to access the restricted area, he was detected by private security trying to hide a package in his pants.

After a “more meticulous” search, authorities found that the passenger had 1205 doses of cocaine.

The detainee was presented to the judicial authority today and the coercive measure of preventive detention was applied to him.
