Films about Margarida Tengarrinha and Ilha da Culatra in Doclisboa’s programming

Films will be shown on the 22nd, 23rd and 27th of October

The film “Clandestina”, about the life of Portimonense Margarida Tengarrinha, and the film “Areia, Lodo e Mar”, shot on the island of Culatra, are part of the program of the 21st edition of the Doclisboa film festival, which takes place between the 19th and October 29th. 

“Clandestina” tells the story of Daisy Tengarrinha, who played a role in anti-facist resistance, becoming a forger through political activism.

The film will be shown on the 22nd of October, at 21:30 pm, and on the 27th, at 14:00 pm, both at Cinema São Jorge.

“Sand, Mud and Sea” focuses on the life of the fishing community on the island of Culatra and the conditions in which it survives.

The film will be shown on October 23rd, at 21:30 pm, at Culturgest- Aud. Emílio R.Vilar.
