20 kilos of octopus and 10 kilos of squid were seized this Friday morning, October 6, by the Maritime Police, in Santa Luzia (Tavira).
During an inspection action, members of the Maritime Police «intercepted a vehicle with fish inside, in an irregular situation, having identified the suspect» and «prepared the respective report», says the National Maritime Authority.
The fish was donated to a Social Solidarity Institution.
Five members of the Tavira Maritime Police Local Command were involved in this action, supported by two vehicles.
