Chef Luís Brito “Arrebita” with octopus dog

The event also features some new features, both gastronomic and musical.

Chef Luís Brito, from the restaurant “A Ver Tavira”, will participate in the “Arrebita Portimão” festival taking place this weekend, 16th and 17th September, at Praça da República, in Portimão.

The event, which takes place from 18pm to 23pm, features more than two dozen national chefs, has free entry and features signature dishes for a single price of 6,50 euros.

Local products could not fail to be present at the event, presenting the best that the Algarve produces in terms of gastronomy.

The event also features some new features, both gastronomically and musically.

Over the course of two days it will be possible to learn how to cook with eight guest chefs, who will share some of their secrets and reveal kitchen tricks.

When it comes to entertainment, a detail always present in Arrebita's programming, the organization wanted to go further and present the public with DJ sets, in addition to the usual presence of local musicians.
